With an interdisciplinary approach, I engage one or a combination of the skills below to inspire audiences & bring visions to life.
Curator // Facilitator // Producer // speaker
I work as a curator, programmer and consultant for festivals, conferences, individuals, institutions & my solo projects. My passion lies in working across and uniting many disciplines under one theme or enquiry.
Whether it’s programming a section of an arts festival, designing artistic collaborations, or convening a group of experts for creative enquiry, I love the process of connecting people and ideas to inspire meaningful dialogue and new work.
With creative international networks gathered over 14 years, I can help to design, curate, consult and execute your event, performance or research process.
I am passionate about live interdisciplinary research and creating the ideal spaces for exploration.
I work with unique enquiry formats, developed specifically to create a meeting point between the arts and other industries such as, science, technology, politics or academia.
Together, we design a process that can take a group on an emergent and powerful journey to deepen understanding of a particular theme or issue & contribute to creative problem solving.
From visioning, recruitment & research to design, production, hosting and evaluation, I offer a full and bespoke service. Check out Theama Think Tank, created for international dancer/choreographer Akram Khan, to give an idea of how I work.
I have worked as a creative producer for over 14 years, first developing live arts platform, OneTaste, then working internationally in many sectors of the festival & creative industries.
Inhabiting both worlds of creative & logistical, I am passionate about execution & specialise in choreographing all elements of live events from performance & hosting, to sound, light, decor, logistics, teams & audience journeys.
I work closely with organisations and artists on creative process, fundraising and project management to bring new visions to life, and support the best translation of ideas to audiences.
I’ve worked as a lead creative producer for live showcases, immersive theatre, festival experiences, interactive workshops & video content. These skills can fit within a larger team setting or work in combination with my programming & curating.
Beginning at The Bedford in Balham in 2004, under the guidance of legendary live music promoter, Tony Moore, I began hosting live music nights and festivals. That quickly lead onto hosting the shows, workshops and tours of OneTaste. Live shows lead to live radio & TV presenting, plus speaking across London, and internationally at music & performing arts conferences & festivals.
I speak at events & on panels about my experiences in the arts, creative entrepreneurship, running an arts organisation & community, developing creative work & visions, and arts & festivals roles in transforming society.
