Theama Think Tank is an initiative of leading choreographer/artistic director, Akram Khan and freelance curator/producer, Dannii Evans, created for Akram Khan Company.
They collaborated to design a new research format; a year-long intellectual and embodied live process, bringing together an exceptional multi-disciplinary group of experts, with the intention of exploring deep questions currently facing humanity, from multiple intellectual and artistic perspectives.
These explorations lead to key insights underpinning the thematic research of Akram’s development of XENOS, his final full-length solo show for Akram Khan Company.
